Two versions: Recreational boaters; Law Enforcement officials

Fee: $175 per person/four person class on our boat or $600 on your boat up to four people
Time: Classroom plus on-the-water time.
Prerequisite: Must complete reading assignment before class.

The first and last 100 Yards of any trip. Get the confidence and skills to take your boat out even in a crowded marina. Docking and undocking can be a very stressful situation. However, it does not have to be that way if you understand certain boating basics.

    1. Why does a boat maneuver very differently than your car?
    2. Understanding impacts of Wind and current
    3. Maneuvering in calm and Windy conditions.

     

    Cours is idealy for single and twin outdoor or I/O.

    This is a defensive boat handling and close quarter control course that focuses on maneuvers and techniques for persons that need sufficient skills in operating power boats. We based this course on the National Safe Boating Councils Law Enforcement course. The course and teaching style is designed to help most people no matter your experience or learning style.
