Every assistance towing vessel must be under the direction and control of a licensed individual authorized to engage in assistance towing under the provisions of 46 CFR 10.482.

This course covers the various aspect of assistance towing. It provides a good understanding of the topic so you can perform these duties in a safe manner. At the end of the course there is a 10-question exam.

Class detail can be found in the Course Info Classes start the 10th, 20th, and 30th of each month. This gives the school time to send you supplies and enroll you in the system. The course runs up to four weeks.
